Dorky and Weird

Hey guys! I don't really know about other places but normally here in Portugal, summer is a great month for people but not so much for pets. The hotter months are somehow the months where thousands of animals are left on the streets. Maybe it's leaving their homes and going on vacations somewhere... Here I am trying to understand what goes on inside these people's minds, when there is just no possible explanation. The abandonment of animals is NOT ok. I have a strong opinion that if you decide to take in an animal to your home, you have the responsibility to it for the rest of its life. These animals did not choose to be a part of your life. Someone else did for them. Those wooden boards you see in the picture above you, were in Quarteira (southern Portugal) near a fish market where many stray cats do their best to survive. The boards. How adorable is that though? So sweet that whoever wrote that, decided to come back 2 years later to tell everyone the story...

Hey guys! The other day, I was going through some blogs and came across these amazing outfit posts. But I had one issue with them... There seemed to be a lot of thought and effort put into them haha I don't know about you, but during summer I get more and more lazy with my everyday outfits... with matching things to other things and accessorizing the shit out of a simple look :p A summer day in the life of yours truly consists on going to the beach/pool and hanging out with friends and family so there is no effort in my choice of outfits haha Butttt, on the contrary of what I thought, the other day I went to meet a friend and he said my outfit was cute and I was like " oh this old rag, I just pulled it out of my closet ". I was being 100% honest and yes I made sure I told him I had put 0 effort in looking decent hehehe So I considered that to be a MASSIVE win!! Hey guys! This week has been sooo crazy you wouldn't believe! My family was here, then my best friend/uni roomie came to visit for a week! I don't know about you guys but personally I love seeing what other people wear when they go out!! Is that creepy? :o haha I love love to dance when I go out and last summer I ended up carrying my shoes at the end of the night cause I couldn't do it anymore... So this summer I decided to wear sandals or wedges!! And what a heck of a choice this was!! I've been able to enjoy myself MUCH more cause I don't have to worry about my feet hurting so bad I'd rather saw them off... dramatic much? But if you've ever wore heels, you know the feeling!!   I live in probably the most touristic place in Portugal (a place called Vilamoura) and there are loads of great clubs here! Hey guys! Summer is finally here, and when I'm not wearing a Fun Lipstick (post  here ), I love wearing a colouful eyeliner or using a little pop of colour wherever really (on the inner corner, or even on the lower waterline).  Today, I thought I'd share with you an eye look (is that what this is called? Lol) that I love rocking during spring/summer! I chose to wear a mint eyeliner but I found that using the mint shade on it's own made my eyes look a little washed out and... Odd looking. Haha So drew a tinyyyy black wing to balance it out. It's such an easy look you wouldn't believe! It's quite subtle but it has that fun little pop of colour . Plus it brings out your eye colour!! :)

Hey guys! To be honest, I don't believe in wearing 'certain' shades during the warmer months. I wear whatever I want basically haha I'm not one of those girls who has really pigmented lips so I like wearing lipsticks that  stain  a little, so that during the day (eating, drinking, taking etc) there is a little colour on my lips still. :p So I thought I'd share with you my  favorite shades for spring/summer.  There are nudes, browns, pinks, purples and peaches. Ps : it was really difficult to take so many selfies, plus I couldn't be bothered to put on makeup today so bare with me... Hahaha 

Hey guys! I had a gazillion ideas for today's post... But in the meantime, there were some complications and I don't have time or the right mind set really... But I felt like I had to write a post today for whoever is reading this right now). I found out my 11 year old cat has kidney failure caused by PKD (polycystic kidney disease) and there's nothing we can do about it as his kidneys are now filled with cysts. (We had his fur cut for the summer of 2014. How cute?!)
