Dorky and Weird

Hey guys! Today, I thought I’d share with you a different type of post, not a beauty nor fashion post, but a more personal one. This year has definitely been the best year of my life, but I still had some tough moments for sure. Being in a new city with new people and far from your family made me anxious and alone at times. Honestly, I’ve never been that girl that NEEDED a boyfriend. I’m more into letting destiny taking its course. All my girlfriends had boyfriends and I was one of the few single ones… This never really bothered me. I always felt like I didn’t have to settle with someone just in the sakes of having a boyfriend. Not my scene. But a few months before summer I sometimes felt a little left out… Is that strange? Don’t get me wrong, I’m super happy for my friends and their relationships, but I sometimes wished I had someone too.

Hey guys! The other day, I was going through some blogs and came across these amazing outfit posts. But I had one issue with them... There seemed to be a lot of thought and effort put into them haha I don't know about you, but during summer I get more and more lazy with my everyday outfits... with matching things to other things and accessorizing the shit out of a simple look :p A summer day in the life of yours truly consists on going to the beach/pool and hanging out with friends and family so there is no effort in my choice of outfits haha Butttt, on the contrary of what I thought, the other day I went to meet a friend and he said my outfit was cute and I was like " oh this old rag, I just pulled it out of my closet ". I was being 100% honest and yes I made sure I told him I had put 0 effort in looking decent hehehe So I considered that to be a MASSIVE win!! Hey guys! It's finally that time of the year... Clubbing season ! Haha  Here in Vilamoura, there are a gazillion different clubs (eg: Seven, Bliss, Buddah etc) that open especially for summer! I always have the best time, dancing and just having fun with friends! :) But honestly, one of my favorite parts about clubbing is the 'getting ready' part! Choosing the outfit, doing the makeup etc. Anyone with me? (Believe it or not... This is me tanned... Lol)

Hey guys! Summer is finally here, and when I'm not wearing a Fun Lipstick (post  here ), I love wearing a colouful eyeliner or using a little pop of colour wherever really (on the inner corner, or even on the lower waterline).  Today, I thought I'd share with you an eye look (is that what this is called? Lol) that I love rocking during spring/summer! I chose to wear a mint eyeliner but I found that using the mint shade on it's own made my eyes look a little washed out and... Odd looking. Haha So drew a tinyyyy black wing to balance it out. It's such an easy look you wouldn't believe! It's quite subtle but it has that fun little pop of colour . Plus it brings out your eye colour!! :)

Hey guys! To be honest, I don't believe in wearing 'certain' shades during the warmer months. I wear whatever I want basically haha I'm not one of those girls who has really pigmented lips so I like wearing lipsticks that  stain  a little, so that during the day (eating, drinking, taking etc) there is a little colour on my lips still. :p So I thought I'd share with you my  favorite shades for spring/summer.  There are nudes, browns, pinks, purples and peaches. Ps : it was really difficult to take so many selfies, plus I couldn't be bothered to put on makeup today so bare with me... Hahaha 

Hey guys, A couple of weeks ago, I went to  Kiko  as they were having a 20% discount, so I bought their  Ultimate Pen long wear eyeliner in 05 Teal  - €6.90 (initially) but I got it for  €5.52 ! *sigh* Personally, I find it really difficult to find  MATTE  eyeliners (in a pen form...), so when I saw it... I freaked out! Using my inside voice I mean... Hehehe (I don't know what's going on with my eyelashes lately... It's like they're having a party of their own!) I swatched this eyeliner in the store and was blown away! Pros A beautiful  MATTE  periwinkle blue shade! It  brings out the brown  and yellow undertones of my eyes Perfect shade for Spring and Summer Long wearing Water-proof A nice pop of blue without being too overwhelming Easy application (has a rubber part on the holder so it doesn't slip off your hands) Very pigmented  Only 1 stroke needed to achieve an opaque wing!! Cons Wish there were more shades... Hope you guy...

Today was such a beautiful day, my parents and I decided to go for lunch at the Marina in Vilamoura. It was the perfect spring day for me. It was sunny and even reached by the end of the day 22.5°C!! Can you believe it?! In January!!! There were loads of tourists with their sandals, shorts and t-shirts!! In my eyes it wasn't quite a summer day... Hehehe you can probably tell by my leather jacket and my mums boots and jacket... Heheheh Hope you had a wonderful day as well!! :) Xoxo Jessy 💗
