How to treat back-acne (sounds grosser than it actually is!)

Hey guys!

I don't know about you, but during winter, I start having these small pimples on my back. When I first saw it, I thought it was an allergic reaction of some sort. But it's not.

During winter, we are more bundled up, which causes an accumulation of heat on our backs and there is not enough air for our backs to 'breathe', so it forms these temporary small pimples.
It can also be caused by shampoo or conditioner that wasn't all washed off!!

I find it has the same reaction to when I wore a fringe/bangs and it was hot out!

Nothing some sun can't fix!! But in the meantime, there's a faster solution!!

A Body Scrub!! I'm not going to say which is best because it depends on how sensitive your skin is and how you prefer the beads to be...

My personal favourite is the Sephora Smoothing Body Scrub in Orange Blossom - €3.

Pros
  • Very tiny beads
  • Very aggressive scrub (feels like sand) - so it acts faster
  • Smells like well... Orange blossom
  • Has a cooling effect
  • Does wonders on the skin!

Cons
  • Wish there was more of it. 140ml is not much is you want to use it everywhere...
  • The lid is so fragile it broke the second I opened it
  • (It leaves your back with a little tingly/scratched feeling. I don't mind it but you might)

Do you have a favourite body scrub?

Stay dorky and weird.

Xoxo Jessy ♥
