Quicky about my life #2

Hey guys!

I wrote my first "Quicky about my life" a while ago and I thought I'd keep you updated. (Here's the previous one)

(Here's a random picture of a seagul on top of a house)

-So, I've mentioned this before, I'm taking a gap year, so I decided to take Portuguese (I'm Portuguese, so it's my mother language) just so I can have another language on my resume in the future. I studied in an international school so all my subjects were in English. I thought having a diploma from a Portuguese exam would be best than just saying "I'm Portuguese" in the future, you know?

My last exam was yesterday and I'm really glad how it went!

Now I'm just glad I'm free and can get on with getting everything ready for university! :)

-Last month, one of my best friends (who I met when I was 7 in Spain) asked if I wanted to go live with her in Lisbon. And obviously I said "HELL YEAH!" Hahaha we're both super excited we're going to be able to share this new adventure in our lives, together. :)

-Another issue I mention on my last post, is my cat.

Fluffy came home from the vets and the next day, I honestly thought he was going to pass away that day. He didn't have the strength to move. Not even to lift his head up straight. It was so sad. I even had 'The Talk' with him...

But he made it through. My mum and I put in a lot of effort in helping him with his needs (feeding him, taking him to the toilet etc). We were just trying to make him comfortable.

For the next few days, he kept improving (but I kept telling myself that he could pass away at any moment).

Today, 2 months later, he's never been better! He caught a lizard (he never caught anything in his entire life... Not even a fly lol), and runs everywhere.

He seems happy and that's what matters! We're just taking one day at a time.

So yeah, that's been it really. Life's been good lately (finally lol) :)

How's everything been going with you?

Stay dorky and weird.

Xoxo Jessy ♥

    1. I'm not really learning a new language... Hahaha

I'm Portuguese but I went to an international school so my subjects were in english. So now I just did official Portuguese exams, so I can have it on my resume and not just say "I'm Portuguese" you know? :)

Yes, it's quite similar to Spanish! If you know Spanish, you can easily learn Portuguese as many words are the same :)

    1. Being Portuguese, I never found it difficult... But being a foreigner, I think it must be a very difficult language to learn, specially because of all the verbs (it's like French) but still, a very beautiful language!! :)

Ouu good luck with your German! :)
