I know it's been soo long since my last post... So so sorry! Now that I'm kind of free from uni I can make it up to you don't worry ;)
Ok, where to start?
Well, for the month of December, I was having tests every other day but surprisingly, it wasn't too tiring!
Probably because I feel that I'm having the best time of my life! All my life, people told me that my high school years or my uni years would be some of the best... High school was horrible to be honest (something for another post). But now I totally get what people told me! I can honestly say this is the happiest I have ever been in my life! I feel like everything is falling into place, including me! Haha
It's great when you're working to achieve your goals in life and feel like your stepping in the right direction!
I made some incredible friends that I can now honestly count as family. It's amazing how people who you've only met for some months, show so much love for you and who are there for you unconditionally... To be honest, before coming to Lisbon, I was terrified to live by myself and basically to be alone. But not once, did I feel scared or alone.
I kind of drifted off there... (as usual) Where was I? Christmas. But before it was actually Christmas, there was a Christmas dinner organized by the folks at my university. It was such a fun night... Let's just say there was a lot of laughing and dancing involved... haha ;)
(At the Christmas dinner)
(How Christmasy is this food truck! Oh you crazy Santa! feat. my mother, sister and nephew)
Obviously I had to go home for Christmas! As happy as I am here in Lisbon, nothing can compare to home and family. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to spend that much time with them cause I had 11 tests and 4 projects to worry about... But it was still nice to be home. :)
(This is how you greet the rest of the family. Is there any other way than the dorky way?)
For this New Year's Eve I wasn't in the mood to do anything extravagant cause;
1. I was so exhausted.
2. I didn't want to stay out until sunrise when I had a gazillion tests to study for :(
But it was still fun!! I went out for dinner with one of my best friends, at the Vilamoura Marina and then just walked around and catched up about each other's lives. We then chilled in the car listening to music. Because why not really? haha :p and then went home and celebrated with out families :) (in case this was confusing. We're nighbours haha)
Then it was time to get back to Lisbon and start studying like crazy... It was crazy!! I don't even wanna write a lot about it during this post cause just thinking about those two weeks stresses me out! ahhh
Here are some pics that pretty much describe the past few weeks haha :p
(We get really excited for classes. Like, really excited)
(After my last test... Fell asleep on my bestie's bed! *notice the cloud haha)
(After my test, I thought I'd treat myself to a delicious burger)
And that was it :)
Hope you enjoyed this post!!
How's your life been lately? Good I hope!!
Stay dorky and weird.
